Casey lives inside Casefleet, one click away on every page. Ask questions about your case in natural language, get answers with citations that link directly to source documents, and turn what Casey finds into facts, issues, and tasks — with you approving every step.
Casey is embedded throughout Casefleet — dock it beside your work, pop it out, or collapse it to the edge rail until you need it. Wherever you are in a case, Casey is there with the full case context.
Simply ask questions about your case in natural language. Casey searches through all your documents and case information, providing precise answers with citations that link directly to source material.
We are absolutely using the daylights out of the chat feature lately, and it’s becoming my go-to legal AI. It seems to be getting better and better.
Starting a new matter? Casey greets you on every new case and offers to set it up with you. Add the stipulation, pleadings, or depositions — Casey reads them, then proposes a case description for you to approve.
From there, Casey suggests next steps based on what's actually in your case, so a blank case becomes a working case file in one sitting.
Process files with Document Intelligence for enhanced semantic search capabilities, delivering more comprehensive responses with precise citations to specific locations.
Even unprocessed documents are searchable through keyword matching, ensuring no information gets overlooked.

Click any source citation to launch the Document viewer, taking you directly to the highlighted text. Casey works right alongside the viewer, so you can ask about the document you're reading and create facts instantly without manual transcription.
Ask Casey to propose facts and it drafts them with citations attached — see Proposed Facts for the full workflow.
Casey requires an Advanced AI plan subscription with usage-based billing. All accounts include 100,000 free credits per month per user. Legacy accounts can request a migration to usage billing to access AI features by contacting support@casefleet.com or using in-app chat. By default, the system will stop at your free credit limit unless you enable overage billing.
Documents processed with Document Intelligence provide enhanced semantic search capabilities and precise clickable citations that take you directly to highlighted locations in the source document. Standard documents are still searchable through keyword matching, but citations are limited and you won't get the same level of precise location linking. For the best experience with Casey, run Document Intelligence processing on your most important documents.
Source citations in Casey's responses are clickable links that launch the Document viewer and navigate directly to the relevant location in your documents. From there, you can create facts immediately from the cited information, eliminating manual transcription. Case record citations link to existing facts, entities, issues, or tasks you've already created. Note that citation functionality is only available for documents processed with Document Intelligence.
Yes. Casey has a litigator's toolkit built in — it can propose facts and issues with citations, tag and rename sources in bulk, create tasks, and draft letters and motions. Every change to your case data is proposed first for your review and approval. See Agentic Workflows and Proposed Facts for details.
Credit usage is displayed at the bottom of each conversation, showing both credits consumed and percentage of context used. Extended conversations consume more credits as Casey maintains awareness of the full conversation history. To optimize credit usage, start new conversations when shifting topics rather than continuing long threads. When context usage approaches 100%, consider starting a fresh chat to maintain performance.
When you provide feedback using the thumbs up/down buttons, Casefleet may review the relevant conversation messages to understand issues and improve the service. Your feedback data stays within Casefleet and is never shared with external parties. Importantly, your conversation data is not used to train AI models or anyone else's models - it's only used internally to improve our implementation and address specific issues you've reported.
